The Sanjay Khanna directed 'Junoon' is the third film with the same title. The first was directed by Shyam Benegal and the second by Mahesh Bhatt. It remains to be seen how the third of the lot fares. Its soundtrack has been released by Universal. The album has six tracks composed by Aadesh Shrivastav with lyrics by Nida Fazli. Sunidhi Chauhan sings the opening track, 'Hey Rama'. This is based on a composition that is supposed to be fast and racy but ends sounding cacophonous. Sunidhi is her typical self and makes the song impressive. On the whole, this is an avergae soundtrack.
